Adult Education at St. Nicholas
Religious education is not just for children. All of us need opportunities to continue to learn and grow in our faith. Adult Ed allows us to discover and explore the teachings and Traditions of Orthodox Christianity while also connecting with our fellow parishioners and learners.
Our Introduction to Orthodox Christianity class begins Sunday, September 7, following Coffee Hour. We will be using a different format this year from past years, and the class will be based around a selection of primary readings from Scripture and the Church Fathers, supplemented by secondary readings from contemporary commentators and historians. This class will run from September of 2025 through March of 2026. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Orthodox Christian faith, whether you may be a first-time visitor or a life-long member, is welcome to attend. Please contact Fr. Jeremy if you would like to be added to the Google Drive for the readings.
