$7,839 Raised at St. Nicholas for IOCC's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund

On Friday, March 4, our community of St. Nicholas hosted a Peace Vigil for Ukraine, which included a Paraklesis service and a collection for International Orthodox Christian Charities' Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. I am happy to let you all know that, between the Vigil on Friday and our continued collection on Sunday, our community has raised $7,839 that will be used to provide badly-needed humanitarian relief in Ukraine and among Ukrainian refugees in neighboring countries.

IOCC is partnering with agencies in and around Ukraine to provide relief items including:

  • Baby supplies including diapers, bottles, and wipes
  • Emergency food and water
  • Generators and fuel
  • Flashlights, batteries, and candles
  • Cots, blankets, mattresses, and other bedding
  • Hygiene items
