Priest: * Glory to You, O God, glory to You.
Heavenly King, Comforter, the Spirit of truth, present everywhere and filling all things, Treasury of good things and Giver of life: come and dwell in us, cleanse us of every impurity; and save our souls, O good One.

Our Father, Who art in the heavens, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Priest For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages.

THE 3RD HOUR Η Γ´ ΩΡΑ
Come, let us worship and fall down before God, our King.
Come let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King and God.
Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ Himself, the King and our God.
Hear, Lord, my righteousness, attend to my supplication.
Give ear to my prayer which does not comes from deceitful lips.
Let my judgment come forth from before Your face, let my eyes behold uprightness.
You tested my heart, You visited it by night; You tried me by fire, and unrighteousness was not found in me.
That my mouth might not speak of the works of men, I have kept the ways that are hard for the sake of the words of Your lips.
Set my footsteps in Your paths, that my steps may not be shaken.
I have cried, for You have heard me, O God; incline Your ear to me and hear my words.
Let Your mercy be wondrous, You Who save those who hope in You.
Protect me from those who have resisted Your right hand, Lord, as the apple of Your eye.
You will shelter me in the shelter of Your wings, from the face of the ungodly who have oppressed me.
My enemies have surrounded my soul; they have enclosed themselves with their own fat, their mouth has spoken pride.
Those who cast me out have now encircled me, they have set their eyes to look askew on the earth.
They have overtaken me like a lion ready for prey, and like a young lion’s whelp that dwells in hiding.
Arise, Lord, overtake them and trip their heels; deliver my soul from ungodly men, Your sword from the enemies of Your hand.
From Your few, Lord, You separate them from the earth in their life; yes, their belly has been filled with Your hidden treasures.
They have satisfied themselves with swine, and have left the remnants to their babes.
But as for me, I shall appear before Your face in righteousness; I shall be filled when Your glory is manifest.
To You, Lord, I have lifted up my soul; my God, I have trusted in You; do not let me be put to shame unto the ages.
Nor let my enemies laugh me to scorn; and yes, let none who wait on You be put to shame; let those who are lawless without a cause be put to shame.
Make Your ways known to me, Lord, and teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior; for I have waited on You all the day long.
Remember Your compassions and Your mercies, Lord, for they are from the ages.
Do not remember the sins of my youth and my ignorances; for the sake of Your goodness.
Lord, remember me according to Your mercy.
Good and upright is the Lord; He will therefore set a law for those who sin in the way.
He will guide the meek in judgment, He will teach the meek His ways.
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to those who seek after His covenant and His testimonies.
For the sake of Your name be gracious to my sin, Lord, for it is great.
Who is the man that fears the Lord? He will set a law for him in the way which He has chosen.
His soul shall dwell among good things, and his seed shall inherit the earth.
The Lord is the strength of those who fear Him, and His covenant shall be manifest to them.
My eyes are always toward the Lord, for He will draw my feet out of the snare.
Look on me, and have mercy on me; for I am one who is only-begotten and poor.
The afflictions of my heart are multiplied; bring me out from my necessities.
Behold my lowliness and my toil; and forgive all my sins.
Look on my enemies, for they are multiplied, and they have hated me with an unjust hatred.
Keep my soul and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I have hoped in You.
The innocent and the upright cleave to me, for I waited on You, Lord.
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his afflictions.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your compassions blot out my transgression.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my iniquity, and my sin is ever before me.
Against You only have I sinned, and have done evil in Your sight, that You may be justified in Your words, and be victorious when You are judged.
For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother bear me.
For behold, You have loved the truth; the hidden and secret things of Your wisdom You have made manifest to me.
Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; the bones that are humbled shall rejoice.
Turn Your face away from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore the joy of Your salvation to me, and establish me with Your governing Spirit.
I shall teach transgressors Your ways, and the impious shall turn back to You.
Deliver me from bloodguilt, O God, the God of my salvation; my tongue shall rejoice in Your righteousness.
Lord, You shall open my lips, and my mouth shall declare Your praise.
For if You had desired sacrifice, I would have given it; with whole-burnt offerings You shall not be pleased.
A sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; a heart that is broken and humbled God will not reject.
Do good, Lord, in Your good pleasure to Sion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be built.
Then You shall be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, with oblation and whole-burnt offerings.
Then they shall offer young bulls upon Your altar.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia; Glory to You, O God.

You Who at all times and at every hour are worshipped and glorified both in heaven and on earth, Christ God; Who are long suffering and generous in mercy and compassion; Who love the just and show mercy to those hardened in sin; Who call all people to salvation through the promise of good things to come: receive, Lord, our supplications at this time, and direct our lives according to Your commandments. Sanctify our souls; purify our bodies; set our minds aright; cleanse our thoughts; and deliver us from all calamity, wrath and distress. Surround us with Your holy Angels, so that guided and guarded by them we may attain the unity of the faith, and the comprehension of Your ineffable glory; for You are blessed to the ages of ages. Amen.
THE 6TH HOUR Η ΣΤ´ ΩΡΑ
Come let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King and God.
Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ Himself, the King and our God.
O God, save me in Your name, and judge me in Your strength.
O God, hear my prayer, give ear to the words of my mouth.
For strangers have risen up against me, and mighty men have sought after my soul, and have not set God before themselves.
For behold, God helps me, and the Lord is the protector of my soul.
He will bring evils on my enemies, utterly destroying them by His truth.
I shall sacrifice willingly to You; I will confess Your name, Lord, for it is good.
For You have delivered me out of every affliction, and my eye has looked down on my enemies.
Give ear to my prayer, O God, and do not disdain my supplication; attend to me, and hear me.
I was grieved in my meditation, and was troubled at the voice of the enemy and at the oppression of the sinner.
Because they have turned iniquity on me, and they were angry with wrath against me.
My heart is troubled within me, and the terror of death has fallen on me.
Fear and trembling have come on me, and darkness has covered me.
And I said: Who will give me wings like a dove? And I will fly, and be at rest. Καὶ εἶπα· Τὶς δώσει μοι πτέρυγας ὡσεὶ περιστερᾶς, καὶ πετασθήσομαι καὶ καταπαύσω;
Behold, I have fled far off and have dwelt in the wilderness.
I waited for God Who saves me from faintheartedness and from tempest.
Plunge them into the depths, Lord, and divide tongues; for I have seen iniquity and controversy in the city.
They go round about her on her walls day and night; iniquity and toil and unrighteousness are in her midst.
And usury and deceit have not departed from her streets.
For if my enemy had reviled me, I might have endured it.
And if he who hated me had spoken boastful words against me, I might have hidden myself from him.
But it was you, O man of like soul with me, my guide and my familiar friend, who sweetened my repasts together with me; I walked with you in oneness of mind in the house of God.
Let death come on such ones, and let them go down alive into Hades.
For wickedness is in their dwellings, and in the midst of them.
As for me, I have cried to God, and the Lord heard me.
Evening, morning, and at noonday I will tell of it and will declare it, and He will hear my voice.
He will redeem my soul in peace from those who draw near to me, for among many they were with me.
God will hear, and He will humble them, He Who is before the ages.
For there is no redress for them, because they have not feared God; He has stretched forth His hand in retribution.
They have defiled His covenant; they were scattered by the wrath of His countenance, and their hearts have convened.
Their words were smoother than oil, and yet they are darts.
Cast your care on the Lord, and He will nourish you; He will never permit the righteous to be shaken.
But You, O God, shall bring those men down into the pit of destruction.
Bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but as for me, Lord, I will hope in You.
He that dwells in the help of the Most High shall abide in the shelter of the God of heaven.
He shall say to the Lord: You are my Helper and my Refuge; He is my God, and I will hope in Him.
For He shall deliver you from the snare of the hunters and from every troubling word.
He will overshadow you with His shoulders, and you shall have hope under His wings; His truth will encompass You with a shield.
You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day.
Nor for the thing that walks in darkness, nor for the mishap and demon of noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near to you.
You shall behold only with your eyes, and you shall see the reward of sinners.
For You, Lord, are my Hope; You made the Most High your refuge.
No evils shall come near you, and no scourge shall draw near to your dwelling.
For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
They shall bear you up on their hands, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread on the asp and basilisk, and you shall trample on the lion and the dragon.
For he has set his hope on Me, and I will deliver him; I will shelter him because he has known My name.
He shall cry to Me, and I will hear him; I am with him in affliction, and I will rescue him and glorify him.
I will satisfy him with length of days, and I will show him My salvation.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Seeing that we have no boldness on account of our many sins, do you beseech Him that was born of you, Virgin Theotokos; for the supplications of a Mother avail much to win the Master’s favor. Do not disregard the prayers of sinners, all-pure one, for merciful and mighty to save is He, Who deigned also to suffer for our sake.
Let Your compassions quickly go before us, Lord, for we have become exceedingly poor. Help us, O God our Savior, for the sake of the glory of Your name; Lord deliver us and be gracious to our sins for Your name’s sake. Nail down our flesh with fear of You, and do not incline our hearts to words or thoughts of evil, but pierce our souls with longing for You, so that being guided by Your light as we behold You, the unapproachable and everlasting Light, we may offer up increasing praise and thanksgiving to You: the beginingless Father, with Your only-begotten Son, and Your all-holy, good, and life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages.
