Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in the heavens, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Priest: For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages.
Amen. Lord, have mercy. (ιβ´)
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Come, let us worship and fall down before God, our King.
Come let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King and God.
Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ Himself, the King and our God.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your compassions blot out my transgression.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my iniquity, and my sin is ever before me.
Against You only have I sinned, and have done evil in Your sight, that You may be justified in Your words, and be victorious when You are judged.
For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother bear me.
For behold, You have loved the truth; the hidden and secret things of Your wisdom You have made manifest to me.
Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; the bones that are humbled shall rejoice.
Turn Your face away from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore the joy of Your salvation to me, and establish me with Your governing Spirit.
I shall teach transgressors Your ways, and the impious shall turn back to You.
Deliver me from bloodguilt, O God, the God of my salvation; my tongue shall rejoice in Your righteousness.
Lord, You shall open my lips, and my mouth shall declare Your praise.
For if You had desired sacrifice, I would have given it; with whole-burnt offerings You shall not be pleased.
A sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; a heart that is broken and humbled God will not reject.
Do good, Lord, in Your good pleasure to Sion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be built.
Then You shall be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, with oblation and whole-burnt offerings.
Then they shall offer young bulls upon Your altar.
The Symbol of the Faith (The Creed) Σύμβολον τῆς Πίστεως
I believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created, of one essence with the Father, through Whom all things were made; Καὶ εἰς ἕνα Κύριον Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν, τὸν Υἱόν του Θεοῦ τὸν μονογενῆ, τὸν ἐκ τοῦ Πατρὸς γεννηθέντα πρὸ πάντων τῶν αἰώνων· Φῶς ἐκ Φωτός, Θεὸν ἀληθινὸν ἐκ Θεοῦ ἀληθινοῦ γεννηθέντα, οὐ ποιηθέντα, ὁμοούσιον τῷ Πατρί, δι' οὗ τὰ πάντα ἐγένετο·
Who for us men and for our salvation came down from the heavens and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man; Τὸν δι' ἡμᾶς τοὺς ἀνθρώπους καὶ διὰ τὴν ἡμετέραν σωτηρίαν κατελθόντα ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν καὶ σαρκωθέντα ἐκ Πνεύματος Ἁγίου καὶ Μαρίας τῆς Παρθένου καὶ ἐνανθρωπήσαντα·
Crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, He suffered and was buried;
Rising on the third day according to the Scriptures; Καὶ ἀναστάντα τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρᾳ κατὰ τὰς Γραφάς·
And ascending into the heavens, He is seated at the right hand of the Father; Καὶ ἀνελθόντα εἰς τοὺς Οὐρανοὺς καὶ καθεζόμενον ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ Πατρός·
And coming again in glory to judge the living and the dead, His Kingdom shall have no end; Καὶ πάλιν ἐρχόμενον μετὰ δόξης κρῖναι ζῶντας καὶ νεκρούς, οὗ τῆς βασιλείας οὐκ ἔσται τέλος·
And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke through the prophets; Καὶ εἰς τὸ Πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον, τὸ Κύριον, τὸ Ζωοποιόν, τὸ ἐκ του Πατρὸς ἐκπορευόμενον, τὸ σὺν Πατρὶ καὶ Υἱῷ συμπροσκυνούμενον καὶ συνδοξαζόμενον, τὸ λαλῆσαν διά τῶν προφητῶν·
In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church; Εἰς μίαν, ἁγίαν, καθολικὴν καὶ ἀποστολικὴν Ἐκκλησίαν·
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins;
I expect the resurrection of the dead;
And the life of the age to come. Amen.
Kanon of the Trinity
From the Oktoechos
The Reader reads the Trinity Kanon according to the tone of the week with the verse: “Holy Trinity, God, have mercy on us and save us.”
Megalynaria of the Trinity Τιαδικά Μεγαλυνάρια
It is truly meet to praise the super-divine Trinity, the all-creating Father without beginning, the co-eternal Word born of the Father before ages without emanation, and the Holy Spirit proceeding from the timeless Father.
It is truly worthy to glorify You, God the Word.
Let us glorify in fear Him before Whom the Cherubim tremble, and Whom the heavenly powers glorify: the life-giving Christ Who rose from the tomb on the third day.
Let us all in divine songs befitting God, hymn the Father, and the Son, and the divine Spirit: tri-hypostatic Dominion, the One Kingdom, and Sovereignty.
Beholding your Son rising from the dead as befitting God, pure Virgin, creation was filled with ineffable joy, glorifying and honoring Him.
More honorable than the Cherubim, and incomparably more glorious than the Seraphim, the one who incorruptibly gave birth to God the Word, truly the Theotokos, we magnify you.

I believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
Crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, He suffered and was buried;
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins;
I expect the resurrection of the dead;
And the life of the age to come. Amen.

We on earth imitate the heavenly Powers, offering to You, O Good One, the victory hymn: Holy, holy, holy are You, our God. Through the prayers of Your saints, Lord, save me.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Magnificent in nature, Creator of all, open our lips that we may proclaim Your praises, crying aloud: Holy, holy, holy God. Through the prayers of the Theotokos, Lord, save me.
Now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Awaken us from bed and sleep; enlighten our minds, Lord, and open our hearts and lips that we may sing to You, the Holy Trinity: Holy, holy, holy are You, our God. Through the prayers of the Theotokos, Lord, save us.

Behold, the Bridegroom comes at midnight; and blessed is that servant whom He shall find watching, but unworthy is he whom He shall find heedless. Beware, therefore, my soul, lest you be weighed down with sleep, lest you be given up to death, and be shut out from the Kingdom. But rouse yourself and cry: “Holy, Holy, Holy are You O God; through the Theotokos have mercy on us.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Meditating on that fearful day, my soul, watch, keep your lamp alight and filled with oil; for you do not know when the voice shall come to you saying: “Behold the Bridegroom.” Beware, therefore, my soul, lest You fall into slumber and be left outside, knocking, as were the five virgins; but wakefully watch, that You may come to meet Christ with good oil, and He shall bestow upon you the divine chamber of His glory.
Now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Virgin Theotokos, the unassailable wall and confirmation of salvation, I supplicate you: destroy the counsels of the enemies, change the sorrows of your people into joy, protect your city, be the ally of rulers, encourage all who are yours, strengthen your faithful ones, and pray for the peace of the world; for you, Theotokos, are our hope.
Lord, have mercy. (μ´)
You Who at all times and at every hour are worshipped and glorified both in heaven and on earth, Christ God; Who are long suffering and generous in mercy and compassion; Who love the just and show mercy to those hardened in sin; Who call all people to salvation through the promise of good things to come: receive, Lord, our supplications at this time, and direct our lives according to Your commandments. Sanctify our souls; purify our bodies; set our minds aright; cleanse our thoughts; and deliver us from all calamity, wrath and distress. Surround us with Your holy Angels, so that guided and guarded by them we may attain the unity of the faith, and the comprehension of Your ineffable glory; for You are blessed to the ages of ages. Amen.
Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

More honorable than the Cherubim, and incomparably more glorious than the Seraphim, the one who incorruptibly gave birth to God the Word, truly the Theotokos, we magnify you.
In the name of the Lord, father, bless.
Priest: May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face to shine upon us, and be merciful unto us.

Prayer of Saint Mardarios
Sovereign God, the Father almighty; Lord, the only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ; and Holy Spirit; one Godhead, one Power: have mercy upon me the sinner; and, according to Your judgments, save me, Your unworthy servant; for blessed are You to the ages of ages. Amen.

Prayer of Saint Eustratios
I extol Your magnificence, Lord, for You have looked upon my lowliness and have not destroyed me with angry hands, but rather You have converted my soul within me. Now, Master, encompass me with Your hand and send down upon me Your mercy, so that my soul may escape the wretchedness and lowliness of my bodily existence and that thereby I may not be tempted by the evil one who counsels me to sin both knowingly and in ignorance. Place the Sun within me, Master, to dispel from my soul the fearful and dark appearance of evil demons; instead let my soul receive good counsel and light from Your Angels. Glorify Your holy name, and in Your power bring me before Your holy seat. When You judge, do not let the one who is master of this world pull me, the sinner, down to the depths of Hades, but raise me up, and become my Savior and Defender. Have mercy, Lord, on my soul which suffers in degradation; cleanse it through repentance and favorably accept my confession, that You are blessed to the ages of ages. Amen.

Prayer of Saint Basil the Great Εὐχῆ τοῦ Μεγάλου Βασιλείου
Lord, Creator of all, God of heavenly powers and of all flesh, Who are seated on high beholding things below, Discerner of hearts and minds Who clearly understands the secrets of men, supreme and pleasing Light Which never wavers, Ordainer of time: You the same immortal King, receive the supplications which we make to You with unhallowed lips during this present night. Keep us all safe in Your mercy, and grant us strength and courage in goodness. Forgive all our transgressions whether committed in word, deed, or thought, all our known and unknown offenses. Cleanse us from every defilement of flesh and spirit, and fill our temples with the Holy Spirit. Throughout this night and all our lives grant us a wakeful heart and sober thoughts. We await the coming of the dawn light and the manifestation of the day of Your only begotten Son, our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who with glory will judge all whom He encounters upon the earth, each according to his deeds. Grant that we may not be found asleep and indolent, but wakeful and practicing Your commandments, that we might be prepared to behold the glory of the holy Bridegroom and enter with Him to the place where the joyous song is ceaseless and where we will experience the boundless pleasure of perceiving Your good and ineffable countenance. For You are indeed the true Light that brightens and blesses all things, and all creation praises You to the ages of ages. Amen. Prayer of Basil the Great Εὐχῆ τοῦ Μεγάλου Βασιλείου
We bless You, O God most high and Lord of mercy, Who ever do with us great and unfathomable things, things glorious and extraordinary without number, Who grant us sleep for the refreshment of our weakness and the relaxation of the toils of our much-wearied flesh. We thank You because You have not destroyed us in our lawlessness, but have shown us Your constant love for mankind and roused us as we lay in despair, to glorify Your might. And so we implore Your incomparable compassion, and beseech You to enlighten the eyes of our understanding, and to raise our minds from the heavy sleep of idleness. Open our mouths and fill them with Your praise, so that we may be able to sing and chant, constantly giving thanks to You, O God Who are glorified in all and by all, the Father without beginning, with your only-begotten Son and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Then, “Come, let us worship...,” below:
Come, let us worship and fall down before God, our King.
Come let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King and God.
Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ Himself, the King and our God.
I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, Who made the heavens and the earth.
He will not let your foot be moved, He Who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He Who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your Keeper; the Lord is your Shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and to the ages.
Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord!
Lift up your hands to the holy place, and bless the Lord!
May the Lord bless you from Sion, He Who made heaven and earth!

On the prefeast, feast, or afterfeast of our Lord or the Theotokos the Reader intones the Kontakion of the feast or prefeast from the Orologion. Ἢ·
Remember Your servants, Lord, in Your goodness, and forgive the sins they commit in this life: for there is no one sinless except You the powerful One, Who gives rest to those whom You have forgiven.
In the depth of wisdom, You Who love mankind, You have ordered the universe, and You have bestowed on us that which is good, unique Creator; grant rest, Lord, to the souls of Your servants: for they have truly placed their hope in You, the Maker and Fashioner and our God.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Among Your saints give rest, Christ, to the souls of Your servants, in a place where there is no pain, or sorrow, or grieving, but only life everlasting.

All generations call you blessed, Virgin Theotokos; for in you the indivisible Christ, our God, assumed flesh. Blessed are you and blessed are we who have you as our protection: praying day and night for us; and through your petitions the doors of the Kingdom are opened. Thus we sing to you: Rejoice full of grace, the Lord is with you. Prayer for Those Fallen Asleep
Remember, Lord, our fathers and brethren who have fallen asleep in hope of resurrection to eternal life and all those who have died in piety and faith; and pardon them every offense, willing and unwilling, in word, or deed, or thought, by which they have offended.
And settle them in places of light, places of green pasture, places of rest, from which all sorrow, grief and sighing have fled; where the presence of Your face gives joy to all Your saints from every age.
Grant them and us Your Kingdom, and participation in Your ineffable and eternal good things, and the enjoyment of Your infinite and blessed life.
For You are the life, the resurrection and the repose of Your servants who have fallen asleep, Christ our God, and to You we give glory, together with Your beginningless Father, and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Most-glorious, ever-virgin, blessed Theotokos, present our prayer to your Son and our God, and plead with Him, that through you He may save our souls.
My hope is the Father, my refuge is the Son, my protection is the Holy Spirit. Holy Trinity, glory to You.
